Our Policies at Barons CreekSide
We are not a “strict” property, but do adhere to the following:
Check-In: Anytime from 3pm onwards, key box / no contact needed
Check -Out: 11 am
The Swiss Log Cabin area is reserved for couples only – it’s all about ROMANCE in the Texas Hill Country. Therefore, we hope you will respect the privacy of each cabin and front porch.
Our larger houses are child-friendly (children 4 years and older are charged as extra guests) and we encourage your kids to be respectful of our animals, nature, and other guests.
Groups: If you plan to book 4 or more properties for family reunions, corporate retreats, or group lodging, we ask you to call us beforehand so we can discuss the options and details. You can also rent the entire property (max 58 guests) for private or corporate events. Please call us for all details 830-990-4048
Pets: Some of our cabins (Barons Log Cabin, Barons Wagon, The Big Lodge, Swiss Log Cabin Grindelwald, Hilltop Chalet, Mesquite Farmhouse) are pet-friendly for dogs (max 40 lbs) that absolutely do not chase ducks or cats and must not get into our creek (no goldens, retrievers and other water dogs) . Sofas and beds are strictly off limits for pets.
Cancellations during Corona: Your card is charged 14 days before arrival. If you cancel prior to 14 days of your arrival, we will charge a minimal $49.99 cancellation fee. If you cancel up to 72 hours before arrival, we would issue you a gift certificate for a future stay minus $49.99. Cancelations within 72 h before arrival can only be issued a gift certificate IF we can re-rent your cabin. In case of a complete shut-down, we would fully refund the amount charged even up to planned day of arrival.
Normal policy: We charge the entire amount of your booking 14 days before arrival. If you need to cancel prior to the 14 days, there is a charge of $49.99. If you cancel within the 14 days before your arrival date, we will try to rebook your cabin and issue you a gift certificate for the amount that we are able to re-rent. Please understand that we cannot make exceptions regardless of the reason for the cancellation. We are a small resort, and we do not overbook our cabins so we do need to adhere to the cancellation policy.
If you bring more guests than you book, we will charge for the additional guests upon arrival.
You will be charged for excessive cleaning and destruction of property.
Please treat the cabin and the grounds as guests of a private home.
